When do I pay a commission?
Simple and fair — you only pay when the MLS or an agent brings your buyer.
$0 commission — when YOU find the buyer. A neighbor, a friend, someone from your own online post or personal network — if you procure the buyer entirely on your own, you owe no commission. You stay 100% For Sale By Owner.
Commission applies — when the MLS or an agent brings the buyer. If your buyer comes through the MLS listing, a buyer’s agent, or the professional marketing, a commission applies as set out in your listing agreement with the participating broker.

Common questions
Am I still For Sale By Owner? Yes. You stay in control of your sale and keep marketing your home yourself. MLS Pro simply adds full MLS exposure on top of your own efforts.
Can I still sell it myself and skip the commission? Yes. If you find the buyer entirely on your own, you owe no commission — exactly as your agreement with the listing broker provides.
Where will my home show up? On your local MLS, which feeds the major search sites like Zillow, Realtor.com, and Redfin — the same places buyers and their agents look every day.
What if a buyer’s agent brings a buyer? Great — that’s the exposure working for you. In that case a commission applies as set out in your listing agreement with the participating broker.
Who actually lists my home? A licensed real estate broker participating in MLS Pro places your listing and handles the MLS details. The listing agreement, terms, and any commission are provided by that broker under your state’s rules.
